About the role#
As a Business & Operations Summer Associate, you will gain hands-on experience supporting teams that power the business and long-term success of Capital Group. Through meaningful work, coaching, and collaboration, you will strengthen your analytical skills while learning how a global investment management organization operates. This program provides exposure to business areas within the Capital Rotational Program. High-performing interns may be considered for conversion into the full-time track upon graduation.
What you'll do#
You will be placed on a specific team for the duration of the summer. Your responsibilities may include:
- Investment Operations: Support trade processing, data management, reporting, and operational controls.
- Investment Enablement: Partner with investment teams on project management, business analysis, and process improvement.
- Global Business Services: Contribute to functions such as Finance, Human Resources, Legal & Compliance, Procurement, Enterprise Services, and Communications.
- Strategic Support: Analyze data and business challenges, develop recommendations, and collaborate across functions to support enterprise priorities.
- Professional Development: Participate in networking and growth opportunities throughout the program.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0, 3.75/5.0, or equivalent.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous growth.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and handle complex challenges.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build working relationships.
- Attention to detail, organization, and execution.
