About the role#
The IT Operations Intern supports the Desktop Support team at Nsight. This is a hands-on role where you gain experience across multiple IT functions. You will work on-site in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and dispose of computer hardware and software.
- Help replace network gear, cabling, and physical security systems like cameras and card access.
- Manage the setup, maintenance, and teardown of IT equipment for company summer events.
- Resolve help desk requests and keep users updated on their ticket status.
- Teach users technology best practices.
What you'll need#
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You hold a high school diploma or equivalent and are currently pursuing an Associate or Bachelor degree in an IT-related field.
- You have a valid driver license and a good driving record.
- You have experience installing and removing software on computers.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle complaints.
- Practical experience in a LAN/WAN environment is a plus.
