About the role#
The Wireless Engineering Intern at Nsight helps improve our product offerings by testing new wireless devices and technologies. You will support our Device Engineers with technical tasks, troubleshooting, and tool maintenance. This is a paid, full-time position based in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
What you'll do#
- Assist Device Engineers with formal testing of new wireless devices, features, and technologies.
- Troubleshoot customer issues that are escalated to the engineering team.
- Build test configurations using complex software and electronic test equipment.
- Manage your own workload, set priorities, and plan project deliverables.
- Take on other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- You must have at least sophomore standing.
- Familiarity with engineering principles, software configuration, Internet platforms, and quality assurance techniques.
- A working knowledge of wireless devices like phones and access points.
- Up to two years of background in telecommunications or electronics is preferred.
