About the role#
GreenStone Farm Credit Services is hiring a Credit Analysis & Operations Intern to join our team in Grand Rapids or East Lansing. This paid, full-time internship runs from February 2027 through August 2027. You will work alongside experienced Agricultural Lending Credit Analysts to gain practical experience in credit underwriting and financial operations within the agricultural finance sector.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with Credit Analysts to understand the complexities of agricultural credit underwriting.
- Support the review and improvement of business processes by gathering requirements and testing system enhancements.
- Input, analyze, and present financial data to support lending decisions.
- Monitor national agriculture news and industry trends to understand how they affect lending strategies.
- Work with our Credit Leadership team to provide support on various departmental projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Agriculture, Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Sophomore status or higher with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- An interest in or background within the agriculture industry.
- A self-motivated approach and a willingness to learn.

- This position is based on-site in either Grand Rapids, Michigan, or East Lansing, Michigan.
- This is a paid, full-time internship scheduled for Winter and Summer 2027.
