About the role#
GreenStone Farm Credit Services is hiring a Finance & Accounting Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a paid, full-time position based in our East Lansing office. You will gain hands-on experience in the agricultural finance industry while working alongside our professional staff.
What you'll do#
- Review and release wires.
- Review the daily ACH report.
- Initiate recurring ACH payments.
- Help apply payments to loans.
- Assist with the escrow process.
- Reconcile daily balancing accounts.
- Complete finance and accounting projects.
- Support staff to ensure customer service meets high standards.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a bachelor degree in accounting or finance.
- You should have achieved sophomore status or higher.
- A minimum GPA of 3.00 is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A self-motivated attitude and a desire to learn.
