About the role#
GreenStone Farm Credit Services is hiring an Appraisal Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a paid, full-time internship based in our Mount Pleasant, Michigan office. You will work directly with our appraisal team to gain hands-on experience in the agricultural finance industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the completion of real property appraisals and valuations.
- Conduct on-site inspections of real property collateral.
- Collect and analyze data regarding comparable real property sales.
- Complete real property value studies.
- Support staff in providing customer service.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- Sophomore status or higher with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
- Strong interest in or prior experience within the agricultural or real estate sectors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and a self-motivated approach to learning.
