About the role#
As a Business & Operations Summer Associate, you will gain hands-on experience supporting teams that power the firm. You will work on meaningful projects, receive coaching, and collaborate with professionals to understand how a global investment management organization operates. This program provides exposure to business areas represented in our full-time two-year rotational track. High-performing associates may be considered for conversion to the full-time program upon graduation.
What you'll do#
You will be placed on a specific team for the duration of the summer. Your work may include:
- Supporting trade processing, data management, reporting, and operational controls.
- Partnering with investment teams through project management, business analysis, and process improvement.
- Contributing to functions like Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, and Enterprise Services.
- Analyzing data and business challenges to develop recommendations.
- Identifying opportunities to improve business processes.
- Participating in professional development and networking opportunities.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- You hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or 3.75/5.0.
- You have authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
- You possess strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- You demonstrate intellectual curiosity, learning agility, and a commitment to continuous growth.
- You can navigate ambiguity and approach complex challenges thoughtfully.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You work well with others to build strong working relationships.
- You show attention to detail, organization, and a willingness to take ownership.
- You are comfortable using quantitative information to support decision-making.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science.
