About the role#
This internship with the Portfolio Management Team offers a look into how we manage our loan portfolio. You will work alongside Portfolio Analysts to support quarterly tasks, learn our approach to cash flow lending, and gain an understanding of risk through our lending and servicing functions. This is a 10-week summer program based at our headquarters.
What you'll do#
- Analyze financial statements from various industries as part of our quarterly reviews.
- Assist with annual risk grade assessments for relationships with larger exposure.
- Complete a capstone project and presentation that outlines the lead-to-loan process.
- Shadow Portfolio Analysts to see how they handle collateral, payment, and loan structure questions.
- Collaborate with other departments to handle customer requests and learn how different roles function.
- Lead internal projects aimed at making the team more effective and efficient.
- Attend weekly Loan Committee meetings to listen to the debate on approved deals.
- Participate in department and team meetings for updates and learning.

- Current enrollment in a college or university degree program.
- An interest in banking or finance.
