About the role#
This internship provides an inside look at the operational backbone of a digital bank. You will join the Deposit Operations and Treasury Management team to help ensure deposit accounts function correctly and treasury solutions meet client needs. This is an opportunity to gain foundational knowledge of how a modern bank operates while supporting the small business owners we serve.
What you'll do#
- Support daily deposit operations including account maintenance, transaction processing, and issue resolution.
- Assist the Treasury Management team with onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support of products and services.
- Help identify process improvements and contribute ideas to make operations more efficient.
- Prepare reports, reconcile data, and assist with quality control checks.
- Maintain a high standard of regulatory awareness including BSA, AML, CIP, and OFAC.
- Partner with teammates across Operations, Product, and Client Services.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and projects to build your banking knowledge.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently.
- A genuine curiosity about banking operations and a willingness to learn quickly.
- Previous internship or coursework in banking, operations, or treasury services is preferred.
- Familiarity with deposit account structures or treasury management products is a plus.
- A basic understanding of regulatory or compliance concepts in financial services is preferred.
- Experience with reconciliation, data entry, or reporting tools is a plus.
