About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Chicago. You will work on-site as part of the Financial Reporting team. This role provides hands-on experience in financial services through projects involving regulatory and internal reporting.
What you'll do#
- Assist with monthly and quarterly tasks, including external reporting to the Office of Finance and the Federal Housing Finance Agency.
- Learn to use FRS and CRS systems for reporting processes.
- Support SEC and regulatory reporting for 10-Q and 10-K filings.
- Handle ESG-related tasks as they arise.
- Perform data analysis and manage key data submissions.
- Communicate with internal teams and external auditors to provide support and documentation for audits.
- Collaborate on internal files and participate in Bank-wide events.
- Take on ad-hoc projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited four-year institution.
- At least sophomore status with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Academic focus in Accounting or Business Administration.
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel.
- Good academic standing.
