Check out a day in the life of an Ixonia Bank Intern: Ixonia Bank Internship Program This paid, onsite internship is posted for the Summer of 2027, estimated start date would be on or shortly after May 3, 2027. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial statement analysis. Analyze financial statements by spreading the statements and preparing a complete credit analysis. This will include gathering financial statements, interpreting the financial data, checking collateral, and writing up the analysis. Help maintain commercial loan files. Provide accurate information and sound judgments on the credit worthiness of assigned accounts to assist the commercial loan officers. Assist officers with documentation, including loan preparation and follow up on documentation exceptions. Assists in other areas of the bank on an “as needed” basis. Prepare other reports, as needed, for management. Assist lenders with identifying new potential clients, performing market research and attending initial meetings with prospects.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: (Competencies)
Ability to think both creatively and analytically. Displays an aptitude to learn and work with databases. Possesses proven and polished writing skills; organizational skills; and communications skills. Ability for strong attention to detail; and possess and demonstrate excellent proofreading and writing abilities. Capability to interact professionally with all levels of Bank Management and Directors. Exhibits an understanding of, and compliance with, applicable federal and state banking laws and regulations.
Education, Experience or Preferred Skills: High School diploma and/or general education degree (GED) required. Current student enrolled or planning to enroll in a commercial banking program or related field. Knowledge of Banking industry preferred but not required.
