Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Marketing Director in the preparation of materials, and provide marketing and administrative support of Bank departments, programs, and initiatives. Provide assistance with the preparation of promotional materials, maintaining stock, and delivering of such materials for Branch promotion administration. Provide support in processing mailings, and assistance in writing correspondence for ad-hoc, serial and in-branch mailing programs. Provide assistance in designing and writing of direct mail pieces, email marketing content, brochures, and other collateral as needed. Assist with creation and maintenance of website and social media content. Assist with coordination of bank events, working with branch managers and employee volunteers (grand openings, ribbon cuttings, parades, cookouts, school events, etc) Performs and assists with other marketing and administrative related duties and special projects and events as required.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: (Competencies)
Ability to think both creatively and analytically. Must show an aptitude to learn and work with databases. Must possess proven and polished writing skills; organizational skills; and communications skills. Must have a strong attention to detail; and possess and demonstrate excellent proofreading and writing abilities. Must be able to interact professionally with all levels of Bank Management and Directors. Must exhibit an understanding of, and compliance with, applicable federal and state banking laws and regulations.
Level of Education, Experience or Equivalent: Current student enrolled in a Marketing program or related field. Knowledge of Banking industry preferred, but not required.
