About the role#
Ixonia Bank is hiring a Credit Analyst Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Ixonia, Wisconsin. The internship is scheduled to begin on or shortly after May 3, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Analyze financial statements by spreading data and preparing credit analyses.
- Gather financial statements and interpret data to check collateral.
- Provide judgments on credit worthiness to support commercial loan officers.
- Assist with loan documentation, preparation, and following up on exceptions.
- Maintain commercial loan files and prepare reports for management.
- Help in other areas of the bank as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university program studying Finance or Accounting.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Analytical ability and the capacity to organize tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Motivation, self-confidence, and a flexible approach to work.
- Knowledge of basic finance and accounting principles.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods.
