About the role#
This is a 12-week internship opportunity based in Atlanta, Georgia, running from mid-May to early August 2027. You will work within the Georgia-Pacific Revenue and Pricing teams, focusing on a key business challenge. Interns receive mentorship and support from supervisors while working alongside employees to solve real problems. You will participate in networking events and case studies as part of the broader program.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to support organizational goals.
- Assist with FP&A activities including forecast and planning, benchmarking, gap analysis, and reporting.
- Help evolve finance processes and tools.
- Implement finance and operations best practices.
- Advance financial reporting through Excel modeling and data analytics tools.
- Provide data-driven insights to the team.
- Adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree or alternative program, such as a 2-year or 4-year university, certificate, or upskilling program.
- Eligibility for full-time employment on or before Summer 2028.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
- Financial acumen and an understanding of accounting practices.
- Strong analysis skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
- A process-oriented mindset with an interest in identifying improvements.
- Economic thinking and the ability to apply economic reasoning.
- Effective partnership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis, including the ability to draw insights and make recommendations.
Location & details#
- Location: Corporate office in downtown Atlanta, GA.
- Modality: On-site, with a requirement to work from the office at least 3 days per week.
- Commitment: Full-time internship during Summer 2027.
- Preference: Candidates with an interest in working on-site in Atlanta upon graduation.
