About the role#
Molex, a Koch company, offers a 12-week finance internship in Lisle, Illinois, for Summer 2027. This full-time program provides hands-on experience through projects and business challenges. What you'll do#
Interns are placed in specific functional areas including Divisional Finance, Pricing and Commercial Finance, Corporate FP&A, Supply Chain Finance, Regional Finance, Risk, Treasury, Financial Systems Transformation, Global Process Ownership, or Global Sales and Marketing. Responsibilities vary by team but include:
- Supporting financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Analyzing pricing, margin, profitability, and operational performance metrics.
- Developing financial models, business insights, and reporting tools.
- Assisting with month-end close, account reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Managing credit reviews, risk exposures, and treasury reporting activities.
- Collaborating on process improvements, system testing, and data validation.
- Preparing presentations and analysis for senior leadership.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to solve issues in operations, procurement, and logistics.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited college or university.
- Ability to work full-time for the duration of the 12-week Summer 2027 program.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Experience with data analytics, reporting, or automation tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, or Python.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with initiative and intellectual curiosity.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to learn quickly.
