About the role#
Guardian Glass is hiring Engineering Interns for the Summer 2027 term. This 12-week program runs from late May through mid-August. You will work on-site at our manufacturing facility in Corsicana, Texas, to support innovation, process efficiency, and equipment reliability. Interns contribute to team goals while learning about our management culture and participating in networking events.
What you'll do#
- Use CAD software for design tasks.
- Prepare and perform failure testing on glass and trim samples.
- Automate processes and create standardized reports.
- Conduct time studies and lean process improvements to support operational excellence.
- Support product development lab experiments and field trials.
- Work with and learn about industrial tooling.
- Assist project teams with new equipment installations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Engineering degree or an alternative program, such as a technical or upskilling program.
- Eligibility for full-time employment on or before Summer 2029.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring visa transfer or sponsorship.
- We are looking for students from disciplines including Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, and Chemical Engineering.
