    About the role#

    The Total Rewards team manages compensation, benefits, and well-being strategy for The Heritage Group. As an intern, you will join the Human Resources team to assist with compensation practices and various talent projects. This role offers the chance to apply your knowledge to real business challenges while building relationships with colleagues across the company.

    What you'll do#

    • Audit compensation data and handle compensation requests.
    • Complete compensation benchmarking and surveys.
    • Analyze total rewards data to develop reports that support business decisions.
    • Manage multiple tasks and priorities using project management skills.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues throughout the business.
    • Grow your professional skills in alignment with company values.

    What you'll need#

    • Rising Junior or Senior actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, benefits, or health/wellbeing.
    • High School diploma or equivalent required.
    • Interest in a career in Human Resources.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
    • Strong data analysis, organizational, and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and exercise discretion with confidential information.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.

    • This position is based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
    • This is an on-site, full-time role.
    • The internship term is rolling.
