About the role#
The Heritage Group is looking for a creative intern to support the Strategic Communications team and the Early-in-Career Talent team. This role is part of the People + Enablement team. You will work with the Internal Communications Manager and other team members on storytelling and communications projects. This position is a fit for someone interested in content creation, UX design, and communications.
What you'll do#
- Attend high school and internship program events to find story leads for feature articles.
- Create an email newsletter series focused on intern experiences.
- Visit work sites to interview interns in the field.
- Draft social media content for interns, students, and managers.
- Collaborate with the Internal Communications Manager to review and proofread content.
- Coordinate Summer Internship Program events and track programming metrics.
- Capture employee data to help formulate UX communications.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or Graphic Design.
- Rising Junior or Senior status is preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in Communications and UX design is preferred.
