About the role#
The Global Demand Planning Intern program is a 12-week, full-time training initiative at Molex. This role provides exposure to supply chain functions and cross-functional teams. You will own a strategic project aligned with business initiatives, matched to your specific skills and interests. Interns work alongside employees to solve real-world problems and contribute to process improvements.
What you'll do#
- Collect and analyze historical sales data to support demand forecasting.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather market intelligence.
- Update demand plans and track forecast accuracy.
- Work with supply planners to review planning strategy and inventory levels.
- Identify potential constraints and recommend solutions.
- Use Excel, Power BI, Snowflake, and supply chain planning tools to analyze data and prepare reports.
- Monitor key performance indicators including forecast accuracy, inventory health, and service levels.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and support cross-functional projects.
- Assist in reporting information for supply plans.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Business Administration from an accredited college or university.
- Available to work full-time for the 12-week duration of the Summer 2027 internship.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
