About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineer Intern, you will work with our engineering team on real-world projects. You will apply your education to practical challenges and gain experience in how engineering connects with Sales, Estimating, Field Services, and Manufacturing to deliver solutions for our customers. This position offers mentorship from experienced professionals and exposure to various aspects of mechanical engineering.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical systems and components.
- Create and update engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and documentation.
- Contribute to product development initiatives and innovation projects.
- Participate in engineering team meetings, design reviews, and other cross-functional project activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic engineering software tools.
- Experience with CAD software, such as Inventor or AutoCAD, is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Evansville, Indiana.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, on-site.
- Compensation: 20 to 22 USD per hour.
