About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Koch, you will rotate through multiple departments to gain hands-on experience in our business. This program covers engineering, sales and estimating, field services, research and development, and manufacturing. You will work alongside experienced professionals to build both your technical and professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical systems and components.
- Participate in cost estimations and customer proposals for new projects.
- Support project implementation, on-site installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Contribute to product development initiatives and innovation projects.
- Assist in process improvements, workflow optimization, and quality control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on real-world projects.
- Apply your academic knowledge to solve complex challenges.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A strong interest in rotating through diverse functional areas.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic engineering software tools.
