About the role#
We are looking for a Sales Intern to join our team in Auburn Hills. This is a full-time, paid position that offers the chance to gain experience in project management and sales operations within the energy industry. You will work closely with Project Leaders to support daily operations and ensure project milestones are met.
What you'll do#
- Support Project Leaders with administrative maintenance and data entry for project timing plans.
- Track project progress and send reminders for past-due tasks.
- Organize team meetings and conference calls.
- Escalate project issues to leadership when necessary.
- Track activities across manufacturing facilities to ensure functional tasks are completed on time.
- Coordinate with the project team to manage sample part delivery and customer requirements.
- Identify and track project risks.
- Evaluate and process tooling invoices and monitor tooling documentation.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings.
- Learn and navigate customer portals to support internal processes.
- Handle additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Sales or Vice President of Program Management.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree or are a recent graduate in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- You have strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with program management software, such as Microsoft Project, is a plus.
- Previous internship experience in engineering or program management is preferred.
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You are self-motivated, organized, and capable of solving problems independently.
- You have strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering business results.
- You are willing to learn our products, processes, and customer requirements.
