About the role#
As an Internal Audit intern, you will provide real-time support to AutoZone operations across domestic and international locations. You will work with the business to improve operational efficiency, strengthen controls, and integrate strategy. This role offers experience in a corporate retail environment with opportunities for professional development, mentorship, and cross-functional shadowing.
What you'll do#
- Assist with executing assigned audit projects.
- Interact with team members across the organization.
- Understand and document business processes.
- Analyze data to identify system or process risks.
- Present findings to business partners in verbal and written formats.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising junior, senior, or graduate student at an accredited college or university.
- Pursuit of a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Ability to reside in the Memphis area for the duration of the internship.
- Note that students graduating before June 7, 2027, are not eligible for this program.
