About the role#
AutoZone is hiring a Data Science Intern for a 9-week, full-time program. This internship offers hands-on experience within a corporate retail environment. You will work on data projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and receive one-on-one mentorship. The program runs from June 7, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collect, clean, and prepare large data sets for analysis.
- Use statistical and machine learning algorithms to create clear data visualizations.
- Analyze large datasets to extract insights.
- Develop predictive models.
- Manage assigned projects while collaborating with business partners, analysts, and technology teams.
- Work with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising junior, senior, or graduate student in an accredited college or university.
- Must be pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or Statistics.
- Students graduating before June 7, 2027, are not eligible.
- Proficiency in technical languages and tools including Python, R, SQL, Java, Tableau, and Alteryx.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site internship located in Memphis, Tennessee.
- You must be able to reside in the Memphis area for the duration of the program.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
