About the role#
Harrison Street Asset Management is seeking an Events & Experiences Intern to support the planning and execution of investor conferences, executive-led initiatives, and internal firm events. This role offers hands-on experience with end-to-end event production, from initial planning to on-site delivery. You will work approximately 15 to 30 hours per week in a part-time capacity.
What you'll do#
- Support end-to-end planning for investor conferences, executive-led initiatives, and internal firm events.
- Maintain event management platforms for registration, RSVPs, and attendee tracking.
- Support on-site setup and breakdown, including seating, signage, branded materials, and event equipment.
- Assist with vendor outreach, contract tracking, and confirmations.
- Help produce event collateral, signage, and branded materials consistent with the firm's visual identity.
- Assist with organizing event expenses, invoices, and supporting documentation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Prior internship, part-time, or volunteer experience supporting events, hospitality, or client-facing programs is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential or high-visibility information.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends and travel locally for events.

- This position is based on-site in Chicago, Illinois.
- This is a paid, part-time internship.
- The role is offered on a rolling basis.
