About the role#
Harrison Street Asset Management is hiring an Asset Management Analyst for the summer of 2027. You will work on a full-time basis to provide analytical support for various real estate, infrastructure, and credit strategies. This role requires you to manage multiple tasks and priorities while supporting team members across the department.
What you'll do#
- Assist in managing relationships with existing operating partners.
- Provide analytical and transaction support for workouts, capital calls, financings, and dispositions.
- Prepare capital call and disposition memorandums.
- Review, analyze, and assist with lease transactions.
- Model investment level performance for fund vehicles.
- Participate in the annual business plan and valuation process.
- Assist in the oversight of property operations, including property management and leasing terms.
- Review financial performance and compare results to the budget.
- Monitor capital improvement progress.
- Maintain and monitor key department and firm schedules.
- Assist in the recruiting and training of new employees.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree, with Real Estate and Finance concentrations preferred.
- At least 2 years of applicable internship experience is preferred.
- Core knowledge of real estate principles, finance, and accounting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to draw conclusions from research and data analysis and communicate them effectively.
- Thorough understanding of real estate valuation software, specifically Excel and preferably Argus.
- Highly motivated, organized, and self-directed approach.
