About the role#
Harrison Street Asset Management is seeking a Summer 2027 Portfolio Management Intern to join the team for a 10-week program. This role provides exposure to the full investment management process, ranging from capital raising and asset acquisition to disposition and fund winddown. You will work directly with the portfolio management team, gaining insight into private equity real estate operations and collaborating with senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Perform financial analysis for the Portfolio Management group.
- Compile data from internal sources to support departmental analysis.
- Monitor fund-level financial performance to identify and communicate potential opportunities and threats.
- Analyze performance across sectors, strategies, and partners.
- Coordinate and assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual investor reporting materials.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior in a Bachelor degree program, specifically in Finance or Real Estate.
- Core knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-directed, highly motivated, and organized approach to work.
