About the role#
This internship offers a chance to learn about book sales within the online and digital marketplace. You will join a team of account representatives who manage print, ebook, and audiobook distribution. This role is based in our New York City office.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the strategy, nomination, and tracking of Amazon merchandising.
- Support print and ebook deals by monitoring performance, taking screenshots, and analyzing results.
- Track and review sales opportunities for distribution clients on Amazon.
- Work on projects related to market trends and backlist opportunities.
- Create marketing materials for accounts.
- Provide support for Spotify and digital audio projects.
- Prepare online catalog collections, sales presentations, list catalogues, and seasonal title presentations.
- Assist the team with daily tasks, such as collecting manuscripts and preparing for sales conferences.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or recent graduation from an undergraduate or master's program.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A genuine interest in books.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $18 per hour.
- Spring 2028 Term: February 8 to April 16, 2028. Requires 21 hours per week across 3 or 4 days.
- Summer 2027 Term: June 7 to August 12, 2027. Requires 28 hours per week, Monday through Thursday.
