About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work under general supervision to complete MIS-related projects across various departments. This role requires the ability to work under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines. You may be required to work overtime or outside of normal business hours.
What you'll do#
Your specific responsibilities depend on your assigned department. You will work on projects within one of the following areas:
- Business Analyst: Meet with business units to evaluate needs, define project scope, and document requirements. You will research solutions, conduct user acceptance testing, and create training documentation.
- Security Analyst: Maintain perimeter risk assessments and network device hardening processes. You will also manage security vulnerability assessments and conduct security awareness training.
- Business Intelligence Analyst: Analyze business requirements, write queries, and perform data analysis. You will design, develop, and fix reports and dashboards while helping users adopt these solutions.
- Custom Development Analyst: Write .NET, C#, JavaScript, and SQL code. You will work with SOA design patterns and micro-services.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time bachelor’s or higher degree program in MIS, Computer Technology, or a related field at an accredited four-year university. Recent graduates who completed their degree within 12 months of the internship start date are also eligible.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and demonstrate honesty, fairness, respect, trust, and integrity.
- Preferred experience includes SharePoint, MS Project, and data analytics.
- You must be able to communicate safety-related instructions and job procedures in English.
Location & details#
This is a remote position. While you can work from most states, certain states are excluded based on business factors. You may be required to travel to the Phoenix, Arizona Collaboration Hub or other site locations when needed. This position is not eligible for immigration work visa sponsorship.
