About the role#
Crane Company is hiring an HR Intern to join our team in Jurupa Valley. This is a part-time, paid position offering hands-on experience in manufacturing human resources. You will support our team with recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and daily administrative operations.
What you'll do#
- Manage job postings and screen resumes to identify qualified candidates.
- Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with applicants.
- Facilitate new-hire orientations and guide employees through benefits enrollment.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, and personnel files.
- Support internal engagement events and employee recognition efforts.
- Assist with performance documentation, goal setting, and feedback processes.
- Help manage compliance tasks related to OSHA, workers’ compensation, and unemployment.
- Provide administrative support, including phone coverage, supply management, and reception duties.
- Gain exposure to disciplinary procedures and termination processes.
What you'll need#
- You are a senior currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment.
- Availability to work 20 to 30 hours per week during the weekday.
- Reliable transportation to our Jurupa Valley location.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- An interest in relocating outside of California for future opportunities with the company is preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site at Crane CryoWorks in Jurupa Valley, California.
- The position is part-time and offers an hourly range of $23 to $26.
