About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based at our manufacturing facility in Buffalo, New York. You will work with plant leadership and HR teams to support hiring, onboarding, and talent management. This role provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Partner with plant leadership to attract and retain talent that aligns with our business strategy.
- Manage recruiting tasks for hourly and technical roles, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Coordinate local site operations such as employee appreciation events, community relations, donations, and visitor management.
- Streamline manual HR processes to improve efficiency.
- Lead or support specific projects and ensure they reach completion on time.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to meet daily business needs.
What you'll need#
- Sophomore or junior standing in a degree program.
- Academic focus in Human Resources, Organizational Management, Psychology, or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong time-management, communication, and teamwork skills.
- High attention to detail and knowledge of standard business practices.
- Professionalism and a genuine interest in a career within Manufacturing HR.
