About the role#
The Engagement Services Intern will support our teams by managing financial data and improving internal processes. This internship provides exposure to technology-enabled auditing and IT audit concepts while working on real-world service requests. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Transform and format client data from sources like PDFs or raw files into Excel for audit and advisory teams.
- Organize, clean, and analyze financial data to support journal entry testing.
- Collaborate with the Engagement Services team to solve data-related challenges.
- Identify and implement ways to automate or streamline repetitive tasks using Excel functions or analytics tools.
- Document your process steps clearly and communicate solutions to team members.
- Perform research and assist in problem resolution as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and audit software.
- Excellent analytical, research, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and solve problems effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain solutions to technical and non-technical team members.
- Detail-oriented mindset with an interest in process improvement and data analysis.
