About the role#
The Engagement Services Intern will join the team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Nashville, Tennessee. You will support the Engagement Services team by managing financial data, assisting with audit-related tasks, and identifying opportunities to streamline internal processes.
What you'll do#
- Transform and format client-provided data from various sources into Excel for audit and advisory teams.
- Support journal entry testing by organizing, cleaning, and analyzing financial data.
- Collaborate with the team to solve data-related challenges using logic and process improvement techniques.
- Identify and implement ways to automate or streamline repetitive tasks using Excel functions and analytics tools.
- Document your work clearly and communicate solutions to team members.
- Perform research and assist in resolving project-related problems.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and audit software.
- Excellent analytical, research, and project management skills.
- Ability to multi-task, think independently, and solve problems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and process improvement.
