About the role#
CBIZ is looking for an Audit Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Los Angeles, California. You will work across various industries including Real Estate, Construction, Nonprofit, and Manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Assist in planning audit assignments and participate in client engagements from start to finish.
- Apply your knowledge of accounting principles, quality control standards, and technology procedures to client work.
- Identify audit issues and improvement opportunities, communicating these findings to senior associates, managers, and partners.
- Build and maintain working relationships with client staff to support their goals and needs.
- Uphold professional standards and client confidentiality in all tasks.
What you'll need#
- Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
- Strong analytical, research, and project management skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet software.
- Capability to multi-task and solve problems independently within a team.
- A Master's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
- Active participation in student organizations or previous work experience in accounting is a plus.
