About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship for 2027 based in Phoenix, Arizona. You will work on-site as part of a client team, gaining experience in healthcare consulting. The role involves active participation in projects, on-the-job training, and direct engagement with clients.
What you'll do#
- Perform and review analysis of healthcare data using Excel.
- Use statistical analysis software to manipulate and summarize large healthcare data sets.
- Present your analyses to internal teams.
- Attend client conference calls.
- Manage your time across multiple projects to meet deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, finance, statistics, or a related field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- An interest in healthcare finance and policy.
- While not required, experience with data analytical programming like SAS, SQL, or Python and progress on actuarial exams are beneficial.
