About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in our San Francisco office. We are not offering sponsorship for this position.
What you'll do#
- Assist in planning tax assignments across industries like Real Estate, Construction, Healthcare, and Manufacturing.
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for partnerships, C corporations, S corporations, and individuals.
- Support IRS audits, tax notice responses, trust returns, and gift and estate returns.
- Manage client assignments from the start to the finish.
- Build relationships with client staff to support their goals and improve satisfaction.
- Follow professional standards and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet software.
- Ability to multi-task, think independently, and solve problems within a team.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, research, and project management skills.
- A Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in accounting or active participation in student organizations is a plus.
