About the role#
CBIZ is hiring a Tax Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Boston, Massachusetts. You will work with various industries, including real estate, construction, manufacturing, and nonprofits.
What you'll do#
- Assist in planning multiple audit assignments.
- Apply your knowledge of accounting and auditing principles, quality control standards, and technology procedures.
- Support client assignments from the initial planning phase through to completion.
- Identify and discuss audit issues or improvement opportunities with senior staff and partners.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with client staff to support their goals.
- Maintain high standards of professional conduct and client confidentiality.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, research, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
- Technical comfort with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and internal software.
- Ability to multi-task, think independently, and solve problems.
- A Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation is preferred but not required.
- Experience in accounting or participation in student organizations is a plus.
