About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in East Syracuse, New York. You will work on-site to gain practical experience across various finance functions. This role is a chance to expand your knowledge of accounting and business operations while supporting our daily financial processes.
What you'll do#
- Assist with fixed asset physical inventory.
- Reconcile SAP data to vendor and customer statements.
- Monitor the accounts payable inbox, move invoices to SAP, and secure necessary approvals.
- Verify vendor information and assist with vendor changes or setup forms, including bank payment details.
- Help gather customer credit reference data and follow up on past due invoices.
- Handle daily customer invoicing.
- Perform selected balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with records retention and contribute to various team projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Accounting, Finance, or related degree program.
- Completion of introductory accounting courses with a solid grasp of financial principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High levels of accuracy, efficiency, and personal responsibility.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- A motivated mindset and a desire to take on new challenges.

- Location: East Syracuse, New York.

- Transportation: Reliable transportation is required as the facility is not accessible by public transit.
- Compensation: $18 per hour.
