About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience across various areas of the Finance department. You will work with our team to expand your knowledge of accounting and business processes while contributing to daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with fixed asset physical inventory.
- Reconcile SAP to vendor and customer statements.
- Monitor the accounts payable inbox, move invoices to SAP, and secure necessary approvals.
- Confirm vendor information and help with vendor changes or setup forms.
- Process bank payment information and assist with obtaining customer credit reference data.
- Follow up on past due invoices and complete daily customer invoicing.
- Perform selected balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with records retention and contribute to various team projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of financial principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A high level of efficiency, accuracy, and personal responsibility.
- Good organization and time management skills.
- Motivation and a desire to take on new challenges.

- Location: East Syracuse, New York.
- Modality: On-site.
- Employment type: Full-time intern.
- Compensation: $18 per hour.
- Note: Reliable transportation is required as the facility is not located near a bus route.
