About the role#
The Tax Intern position offers an opportunity to gain practical experience within a professional services firm. This is a paid, full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term. The role operates on a hybrid basis in Richfield, Ohio.
What you'll do#
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for various individuals and entities.
- Organize and file tax work papers.
- Build your knowledge of current tax laws and regulations.
- Assist with special projects as assigned by the Tax Manager.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accounting, cost accounting, or taxation program as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
- Interest in pursuing CPA credentials and preparing tax returns.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with a varied team.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Integrity, a bias for action, and a focus on solving problems.
- Ability to build relationships across business units and instill trust.
