About the role#
This internship provides an introduction to the audit profession within the Japanese Services Group. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain real-world experience, receive guidance from a coach, and participate in networking activities. This is a paid, full-time position for Winter 2028.
What you'll do#
- Audit client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
- Apply risk assessment concepts to design and perform audit procedures.
- Use audit tools and technologies to execute procedures.
- Deliver high-quality financial statement audits.
- Perform audit procedures over key financial statement accounts, transactions, and disclosures.
- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
- Analyze financial information and documentation to identify risks, trends, and potential issues.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and organized audit documentation.
- Collaborate directly with client personnel and engagement teams.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- Definitive plans to meet the educational requirements for CPA licensure.
- Fluency in English and Japanese.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Location & details#
- Locations: Atlanta, GA and New York, NY.
- Modality: Hybrid, with an expectation to co-locate on average 3 times a week.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Residency: Must reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office.
- Sponsorship: Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
