About the role#
This summer internship offers an introduction to the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) practice within Corporate Finance. Interns work alongside experienced bankers to support clients across industries including consumer and retail, healthcare, business services, and global industrials. You will contribute to active deal teams and participate in every phase of the transaction process.
What you'll do#
- Analyze companies from financial, operational, and industry perspectives.
- Construct financial models to assess growth strategies, capital structures, and transaction alternatives.
- Apply core valuation methodologies to evaluate business worth.
- Advise clients on appropriate ranges for conducting transactions.
- Position businesses in the investor community by articulating value propositions and anticipating potential concerns.
- Provide recommendations aligned with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, with an expected graduation date in Spring or Summer 2028.
- Pursuing a bachelor degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (3.2 preferred).
- Previous work experience in a professional environment.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership roles and social impact or volunteer activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Minimum age of 18 at the time of employment.

- Modality: On-site (80-100% of the week).
- Travel: Up to 50% depending on client needs.
