About the role#
This Summer Associate position within the Corporate Finance practice offers experience across live transactions and pitch assignments. You will join deal teams to provide analytical input and work directly with client executives. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Advise clients on strategic processes for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising.
- Develop process tactics and frame perspectives on potential investors and buyers.
- Build financial models to assess growth strategies, capital structures, and transaction alternatives.
- Craft presentation materials and contribute to the strategic positioning of clients.
- Lead and oversee the modeling and analytical work of junior bankers.
- Lead discussions with clients and interact with private equity and strategic buyers.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an MBA or higher degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or an equivalent field.
- Expected graduation date between Spring and Summer 2028.
- Relevant professional work experience.
- Experience with financial modeling and analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership in activities like campus clubs, sports teams, or societies.
- Demonstrated recent volunteer activity or social impact work.
- Previous investment banking or M&A execution experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This role is on-site and hybrid, requiring you to reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office.
- You may be expected to co-locate at the office 80% to 100% of the week.
- Travel up to 50% may be required depending on client and project needs.
- The weekly wage for this role is $2,885.
