About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Accounting Advisory internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in our San Francisco office, gaining hands-on experience by assisting with tax assignments across diverse industries like real estate, construction, healthcare, and manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Assist in planning tax assignments and participate in client projects from start to finish.
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
- Build your tax compliance knowledge by helping with IRS audits, tax notice responses, and trust, gift, or estate returns.
- Build and maintain working relationships with client staff to ensure high levels of service and responsiveness.
- Uphold professional standards and client confidentiality in all your work.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Strong analytical, research, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and related technical software.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Capacity to multi-task and solve problems independently within a team.
- A Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation is preferred.
- Experience in accounting or active participation in student organizations is a plus.
