About the role#
Salvagnini America is looking for a motivated intern to support our operations across Accounting, Finance, and Human Resources. This full-time, paid role provides hands-on experience in a professional environment. You will work alongside our staff on projects that contribute to our daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including data entry and invoice review.
- Support the period-close process by preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and maintain fixed asset records.
- Maintain and organize tax and financial documentation.
- Manage confidential employee records and HRIS information.
- Assist with the recruiting process by reviewing resumes and scheduling interviews.
- Support employee engagement, company events, and recognition programs.
- Help with HR compliance projects, audits, and internal policy initiatives.
- Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and presentations for various departments.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Completion of at least one year of coursework in finance or HR is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and basic formulas.
- Experience with accounting software like SAP or QuickBooks is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.

- This position is located in Hamilton, Ohio.
- The role is on-site.
- The internship term runs from January 2027 through May 2027.
- Compensation is $22 per hour.
