About the role#
This internship offers students a look into life as a consultant in our Forensic Accounting and Claims Consulting practice. You will work alongside professionals ranging from consultants to directors, gaining experience across a variety of client projects. The program provides exposure to the breadth of our services while you assist with fact-finding, cost allocation, and data management.
What you'll do#
- Design financial and accounting models to quantify insurance claim losses, including business interruption, property damage, cyber, product recall, and employee fidelity.
- Analyze financial statements and documentation to support client engagements.
- Prepare annual business interruption and property renewal values for companies across various industries.
- Develop sensitivity analyses regarding loss measurements.
- Reconcile claim amounts against accounting systems and insurer calculations.
- Manage multiple project engagements of varying size and scope simultaneously.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Strong computer and data management skills.
- Attention to detail and effective time management.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work within a team.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.

- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Houston, Texas.
