About the role#
The Forensic Data & Analytics team at Ankura focuses on using technology to solve complex client challenges. Interns join a collaborative environment to work on regulatory investigations, litigations, business process improvements, and automated reporting. You will gain exposure to various technical tools and programming languages, including SQL, Python, C#, VBA, and Tableau, while participating in team projects and internal initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Identify, research, and organize information to assess data sufficiency.
- Determine relationships between multiple data sources.
- Aggregate, cleanse, and normalize disparate data sets.
- Analyze and interpret historical financial, operational, and transactional data.
- Create summaries, data visualizations, and written analyses.
- Document processes developed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in internal and external team meetings.
- Maintain a professional image and be available for travel or overtime as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Academic focus in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, MIS, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related analytical field.
- Solid academic performance and a strong interest in using technology to solve data problems.
- Ability to manage tasks to meet deadlines and interact confidently with team members.
- Advanced problem-solving, logic, and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. (U.S. citizen or permanent resident).
