About the role#
This summer internship provides exposure to the Disputes & Economics practice at Ankura. You will work alongside professionals ranging from consultants to directors on diverse client engagements. The program focuses on financial, accounting, and economic issues related to complex litigation, including forensic accounting, class action matters, and regulatory investigations. You will gain experience across various project teams throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Perform financial, accounting, economic, and statistical analyses.
- Develop models using data analytic tools and programs.
- Load and validate client data into structured formats.
- Conduct detailed spreadsheet analyses.
- Assist with data gathering, including document review, research, and quality control of data entry.
- Prepare client reports and exhibits.
What you'll need#
- Undergraduate status with a graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Preference for majors in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in teams and handle overtime when necessary.
- Initiative, adaptability, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SQL, R, Python, or SAS is a plus.
- Permanent authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
