    About the role#

    This internship supports the Disputes & Economics business group within the Healthcare and Life Sciences practice. You will work on project teams to assist providers, payers, and pharmacy clients with investigations, regulatory compliance, and complex disputes. This is a full-time, paid position based in Washington, D.C., available for the summer of 2027 or 2028.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform financial, accounting, economic, and statistical analyses.
    • Conduct detailed research and fact-finding for client matters.
    • Build computer models and complex spreadsheets.
    • Gather data, including document review and quality control of data entry.
    • Prepare expert reports and exhibits for use in litigation or regulatory matters.
    • Document your analysis and provide client service.

    What you'll need#

    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Public Policy with an expected graduation between December 2027 and August 2028.
    • A cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
    • Interest in the healthcare industry and working with large data sets.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Familiarity with SQL, Microsoft Access, or statistical software like R, SAS, or SPSS.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to solve problems creatively.
    • Ability to work in a team, multi-task, and prioritize work.
    • Willingness to travel or work overtime if requested.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Washington, D.C.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $34 per hour.
    • Eligibility: You must have permanent authorization to work in the United States. This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
