About the role#
As a Construction Intern, you will work with project team leaders and experts to support the Construction, Disputes & Advisory practice. You will assist in providing dispute resolution and advisory services for large-scale construction projects. This role involves performing detailed analyses and working directly with project teams to address complex challenges in project planning, execution, and dispute resolution.
What you'll do#
- Gather data through detailed document reviews and manage project databases.
- Analyze project schedule delays, cost records, productivity, and change orders.
- Use software to model schedules, contractor production rates, and project costs.
- Create high-quality work products while maintaining strict quality control.
- Prepare materials for review by senior staff.
- Support practice development efforts.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with solid academic performance.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Creative and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to adapt to changing tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
- Experience with Primavera scheduling tools and Critical Path Method (CPM) techniques is desirable.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. is required. This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
