About the role#
Ankura is seeking interns for the Legal Technology and Data Analytics team. You will work within our eDiscovery, data processing, and forensics practice. This role focuses on investigations and litigation matters, helping clients turn large datasets into actionable intelligence. You will join a team that uses data science, predictive analytics, and machine learning to solve complex challenges.
What you'll do#
- Design technology-based approaches to solve data challenges.
- Identify, organize, collect, process, review, and produce electronic data for projects.
- Create summaries, data visualizations, and written analyses of your work.
- Manage your tasks to meet deadlines for clients in time-sensitive industries.
- Document your processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in internal and external meetings.
- Maintain a professional image and be prepared for potential travel or overtime.
What you'll need#
- Graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
- A Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Law, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, or another analytical field.
- A solid academic record and a strong interest in using technology to solve data problems.
- Excellent communication, quantitative, and organizational skills.
- Strong logic, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in team settings and manage your own time effectively.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. (this role does not offer sponsorship).

- Location: Washington, District of Columbia.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $34 per hour.
